Absolutely the Ezio trilogy is peak AC. It has best story, best environments, best soundtrack. The free running feels like more of a game mechanic rather than "hold modifier button and push forward" even if it's a bit frustrating at points. But and this is a big but (lol big butt) if you're an og assassins creed fan and dont like the hack and slash rpg direction that AC has become this game does not deviate from that at all besides gear not being randomized loot.
